Is it just me or does early TV batman and robin give off the same vibes as the scooby doo gang???
Just watched The Lego Batman Movie with one of my younger siblings since I had the DVD and... I didn't remember it being this fruity, hello???
My favourite Batman movie is The Lego Batman movie and you might think that it’s childish BUT
My second favourite is The Batman because that is Batman. The scene in the crime scene is spot on! And Selina?! The cat woman suit, the backstory, the casting. And the Riddler? The only criticism I can come up with is that I like the classic green three piece suit with question marks. Only reason it’s not my favourite is that that is not Bruce Wayne. It’s too much wet cat and not enough Brucie Wayne.
Christian Bales Batman on the other hand is too much Bruce Wayne and not enough Batman.
BUT LEGO BATMAN? He is a party animal who flirts his way through life and at the same time a lonely guy who needs to let people in. It’s a comedy and a Lego movie which means we wouldn’t get a creepy Batman who lurks in the shadows and disappears when you look away.
A perfect Batman movie would have a Brucie Wayne who trows a party every week, funds half the city and who you would believe every scandal story about. A Batman who cares about his villains, who is great with kids, who is a detective and not a superhero, who lurks in the shadows and appears and disappears in the blink of an eye. And a Bruce Wayne who sleeps a maximum of three hours a night, is incredibly lonely, adopts any and all kids who he sees himself in and who loves his butler over everything(except his kids).

MORE AU DROPPING: OKAY, SO FOR LIKE THE LONGEST TIME NOW I've been cooking up a Lego movie 2 au where after apocalypseburg and the systar system get along in the process of building their new town/city sweet mayhem reports that there's a bounty hunter on the loose specifically coming after waterva but willing to blast who ever gets in his way. And the thing is, the bounty hunter is Lucy's dad, who is trying to get revenge on the systarians for "killing" his wife with kragle or smth. But it turns out his wife is alive and happy living on one of the planets in the system( this also kinda overlaps with my Lego movie family au, but they are not the same)
Lego movie au doodles. A queen and a handmaiden? Type of dynamic is thisðŸ˜

This is mostly an au based around the systar system
Everything is pretty much the same
Expect the queen adopted Mayhem when she was really little
And Raised her to become a princess originally until mayhem got a bit older and told her mom she wanted to be a general or smth idk
Susan and the ice cream cone supervised the queen while raising MINI mayhem(baby or toddler nickname, hehe)
When batman and waterva got married, mayhem wasn't really happy/ sure about it(along with susan & ice cream cone)
Both had their own reasons why they weren't sure about the wedding
However, Susan's was a bit selfish
Lucy & the queen are more like sisters who don't get along a lot AT ALL-
In This au, the queen is also known as:
The mother of the systar system. Due to her treating all the aliens duplos ect like her very own children.
Susan & mayhem HATE Batman
mayhem's Reason is more like:
My mom is a strong independent queen blah blah blah.
Susan is just jealous, ig
Mayhem and Robin are siblings(YAYYY)
Mayhem is still learning how to warm up to humans
The queen is still very uncomfortable around apocalypseburgers (as she calls them)
